Hog's Breath Cafe

The sun rose from the west today! Boss treated lunch! hehe. This is the result of pestering him for ang bao! yay! :p

All of us ordered the set lunches which are really value for money cos according to SL, the portions are exactly what they serve normally for ala-carte. SL and i ordered different mains to share.

Soup of the day - cream of mushroom in a mug. Quite nice. Can really taste bits of mushroom in it and not too creamy.

SL's main - Chicken Dijonnaise. Not sure if i'm super hungry. The first time i was here, i took a bite-size of this and i didn't like it. Today's not bad. The chicken breast is expectedly dry but combined with the dunno-what yellow sauce, the result's quite good.

My main - 18-hour slow cooked Prime Rib. i had requested for it to be medium well. Although it looked pretty well done, it was surprisingly juicy. i don't usually eat steak but i do think this is quite good.

Mississippi Mud Cake served with Cream & Ice-Cream. Today's portion was significantly reduced as compared to my previous visit. i think the ice cream used to be double this size! Still, i think this is nice. You can't go wrong with a chocolate cake and vanilla ice-cream i guess. :p

A very satisfied lunch! Today is my second visit to this Vivo branch. The first time i was here, i had to takeaway half of my main! (i had ordered the grilled steak sandwich then, which i won't recommend). Save for the fries, we could finish most of the food today! hehe. Go for the set lunch. It's really worth the price! I don't think i would pay the usual prices to eat here though. Not when you can get such a good bargain!
