OMG! This is incredible, crazy, cool, amazing, unbelievable! A reunion of my long lost and completely forgotten Primary ONE classmates! This is practically insane cos i switched school at the start of Pri 2? I have no recollection of my Primary 1 classmates whatsoever. Other than remembering i was always peeping through my thick glasses secretly during class cos i didn't think wearing them was cool. :P And was it 3-5years back? I was having dinner with a friend and bumped into his friend. Or was it? Oh anyway, so i met this friend's friend. After chatting with her, she suddenly asked if i were from DWS/DPS. Omg! Was she psychic? Anyway, we exchanged numbers, she emailed me an old class photo that i didn't even remember taking and that was it. We didn't keep in touch after that. It was totally out of the blue that i received a sms from her yesterday saying that somehow, someone had managed to get about 10 of the old schoolmates for a reunion today. Wanting to know who are those people, i went for the gathering cos this was also their first gathering after about 2 decades.
So i met up with them tonight. I was quite amazed that i went cos i'm practically meeting a bunch of strangers. I was kinda curious how does everyone turn into from the blurry scanned class photo that i have. Didn't manage to talk to every single person. Couldn't even remember all of their names. There were 12 of us in the end. Half married. Everyone is in different field. Turned out that a girl from my Uni course was in my Primary 1 class too! What a small world. I seemed to be the outsider cos everyone seemed to be in the same Primary 6 class and talking about names that i don't know/recall... It's like meeting new friends. Very mixed feelings... but the problem is... i think i kinda forgot how to make new friends... -_-" i also wondered what am i doing there... feeling kinda awkward... even the guy next to me was asking... do i feel weird meeting a bunch of people i don't know and how do i feel if we start to keep in touch via email/sms cos he thought i was quiet.
Sidenote: Btw, the HK cafe next to Shokudo at Raffles City basement is not worth trying... Unless you have a big group and cannot find other place to accommodate your numbers... Else, go elsewhere.
